Outdoor LEDs
Outdoor LEDs designed for demanding environments.
At AM Lighting, we develop outdoor LED lighting systems designed to withstand real-world conditions: humidity, vibrations, UV radiation, rain and voltage fluctuations.
We do not adapt indoor luminaires. We design specific solutions for vehicles and applications where reliability is not optional.
Each unit is manufactured to technical specification, with integrated current regulation and active thermal protection to ensure stability and long service life in harsh conditions.
Design for demanding environments
Outdoor lighting prepared for real-world conditions. Our outdoor LED lighting systems are specifically designed for battery-powered vehicles (12V and 24V) and applications subjected to:
- Constant damp and rain
- Prolonged exposure to UV radiation
- Voltage fluctuations
- Extreme temperature fluctuations
We have incorporated electronic current regulation to ensure that voltage fluctuations do not affect the LED’s lifespan. The built-in thermal protection prevents premature degradation, even in situations involving high levels of sunlight exposure or continuous thermal stress.

Construction and materials
Includes pre-installed connection cable (H03VVH2-F)
This facilitates integration and reduces assembly time
Compact, robust, and durable design
The profile is made of natural anodised aluminium, ensuring:
- High mechanical strength
- Optimal thermal dissipation
- Structural stability against vibrations
- Long service life in outdoor environments
The UV-protected opal epoxy diffuser maintains long-term optical and aesthetic stability, preventing yellowing and degradation. Finishes available according to specific project requirements.
03
Custom lighting design
Uniformity and real performance. We design the optics to deliver:
60 LUX Minimum
A minimum of 60 lux at a distance of 3 metres , with an average height of 2.5 metres
Temperature variation
Cool white colour temperature 4500–5000K Colour range depending on project requirements
Light output remains stable regardless of fluctuations in the input voltage, thanks to the built-in regulation.
04
Safety and regulatory compliance
In special vehicle applications, electrical reliability and EMC stability are not optional.
Standards integrated from the design phase
Our outdoor LEDs comply with:
vibration resistance

FAQS
What type of outdoor LED lighting is suitable for industrial and emergency vehicles?
Outdoor LED lighting for industrial and emergency vehicles must be specifically designed to withstand vibrations, humidity, voltage fluctuations, and prolonged exposure to UV radiation.
Our outdoor LED profiles are developed for applications in fire trucks, service vehicles, and technical mobile units, integrating IP68 protection, current regulation, and EMC compliance (ECE R10).
It is not about adapting standard luminaires, but about designing solutions prepared for real working environments.
What differentiates a professional IP68 LED profile from a conventional outdoor LED luminaire?
A professional IP68 LED profile is not only sealed against water and dust, but also incorporates:
- Stable regulation electronics.
- Integrated thermal protection
- Compliance with vibration and EMC standards
- Aluminium construction with optimised thermal dissipation
What outdoor LED bars operate on 24V batteries?
Outdoor LED profiles for 24V emergency vehicles must incorporate active current regulation to maintain stability under voltage fluctuations typical of battery-powered systems.
Our LED profiles operate within an input range of 18–30 V DC, with optimised regulation between 22–30 V DC, ensuring extended service life and consistent light stability.
They can also be adapted to 12V systems upon technical specification.
What is the actual lighting level provided by the outdoor LED profile?
The profile provides an average luminous flux of 1350 lm/m and achieves a minimum of 60 lux at a distance of 3 meters, considering an average mounting height of 2.5 meters.

What protection systems are incorporated into the outdoor LED profile?
The product integrates:
- Active current regulation
- Overheating protection
- IP68 fully sealed protection
- Vibration resistance (EN 61373)
- Electromagnetic compatibility according to ECE R10
These protections are integrated into the design, not added afterwards.
What is the lifespan of the LED system in outdoor conditions?
The LED system is designed according to L70/B50 specifications, ensuring long-term luminous flux maintenance even in environments subject to thermal variations between -20°C and +70°C.
The combination of electronic regulation and optimised thermal dissipation is key to preserving performance stability in the various environments where emergency vehicles operate.
