AM Lighting consolidates its presence in the Oceania market after completing the commuter rail rehabilitation phases in New Zealand and the fleet renewal in Mexico (both phases belonging to the Auckland project). This project is notable for the very high volume of luminaires supplied, guaranteeing reliability on one of the busiest networks in the region.
Auckland’s commuter rail network has undergone a historic transformation with the arrival of the new stainless steel electric multiple units. AM Lighting has led the supply of lighting systems for these fleets, ensuring optimal performance in a high-traffic environment.
The project required the robustness of our components, designed to withstand the vibrations and demands of metropolitan transport. Key equipment supplied included:
- Main Lighting (4000K): more than 7,000 luminaires of different sizes.
- Auxiliary Lighting and Security:
- Step Lights: Courtesy lights for the access steps.
- Spot Lights: Light points integrated into the ceiling.
- Main reading and cabin lights.
